Police are asking residents to avoid the intersection of Highway 16 and Highway 824 near Ardrossan.

A portion of Highway 16 eastbound at the junction of Highway 824 is now open after being closed earlier.
The road was closed Monday (Mar. 27) afternoon due to a police chase.
Police say that the incident has been resolved and the road is open to traffic again.
