Moose Jaw Women Who Care is hosting a Zoom event on May 4, 2023, at 7:00 pm.
The event is focused on learning and supporting the work of Moose Jaw and District Food Bank.
Nicole Lillico, Chair of MJ Women Who Care, is excited to educate people on the importance of the food bank.
"We would love to see you come and bring a friend," Lillico exclaimed. "It will be on Zoom, so you don't even have to leave the comfort of your home!"
Lillico stresses the important role that the food bank plays in Moose Jaw.
"We have many vulnerable families and children who desperately depend on the work at the Moose Jaw and District Food Bank," Lillico remarked. "Without that, we have people going hungry in our community."
Lillico also mentioned that with groceries rising in price all the time, the food bank's contributions are more important than ever.
Individuals and groups attending the meeting are encouraged to make a $100 donation to the food bank. Each person who registers will be entered to win a beautiful gift basket!
