The City of Grande invites residents to attend one of two public information sessions for the Municipal Development Plan (MDP) Review. The sessions take place on May 16 and 18 from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Centre 2000 (11330 106 Street).

“The Municipal Development Plan Review provides an opportunity for residents to learn about and provide input on key focus areas and policies that set the vision for how Grande Prairie will grow and develop”, said Grande Prairie Mayor, Jackie Clayton. “We encourage everyone to attend and share their thoughts on how we can shape the future of our community."

"The Municipal Development Plan Review is an opportunity for us to work together to build a better future for Grande Prairie,” said Senior Planner, Alison Downing. “By engaging in this process, we can ensure that our community grows in a sustainable and inclusive way that benefits everyone.”

The public information sessions are free to attend and will provide education on the MDP and allow residents to share feedback on key focus areas and updated policies.

Residents are also invited to share what they believe should be the City’s priorities for growth and development in the future by completing the MDP survey at engage.cityofgp.com/mdp by May 21.
