The Humboldt and District Museum is hosting a workshop entitled “Visualizing Community Through Time and Place” on Tuesday, May 16 at 6:30 pm.
A release from the Museum states that in the workshop, participants will be taken through an act of creative learning to realize one’s sense of place by accessing the past and seeking better
understandings of their community. The goal is to add to an individual’s knowledge and self-understandings, and to encourage stronger relations in the Humboldt area.
The workshop is conducted by Christine Fiddler who is originally from the Treaty 6 territory of the Waterhen Lake First Nation in northern Saskatchewan. She currently lives in Saskatoon and is a PhD student taking Indigenous History at the University of Saskatchewan.
This project is part of the Relationship Building and Reconciliation through Living Heritage program with our partners.
For more information on the workshop call the Museum at (306) 682-5226 or email info@humboldtmuseum.ca. There is no cost to participate.
