It is with sadness that we announce that Rachel has started her journey to the spirit world. She is survived by her daughters, Mirelle and Allison, her dad and best friend, Leonard White, her mother, Pauline Pemmican, her mother Deborah Purdom, her siblings: Jason Green (Ulaaju children Isaiah, Serena, Tyrone, Rhoda, Junior, Elijah and Emma); Vincent (Margaret, Apollo, Pharaoh), Jason (Sandra), Leona (Farrell, Karrah, Shayde, Wyatt), Waylon (Debbie, Shaylon), Garnet (Mario, Summer, Star), Shannon (Rayne, Zoe, Dene, Krystal) and great nephews and nieces, her best friends, Bonita Kavanaugh and Marion Prince. She will be greatly missed by all including her aunts and uncles, and her friends too numerous to mention.

Rachel enjoyed many sports especially volleyball, basketball, baseball and badminton. She also enjoyed beadwork, travelling and seeing new places. Rachel had a great sense of humour and had a very loud laugh. She considered her team mates as very good friends. Her daughters were very important to her and she loved them deeply.

Rachel was predeceased by her paternal and maternal grandparents, Aunties and Uncles and her sister, Nadine.

We would like to thank the nurses who took great care of her, especially to Char and her doctors.

A Traditional Wake Service will take place at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 10 -12 p.m. and at the Whitefish Bay First Nation BaiBomBheh School starting at 2:00 p.m.

Due to Covid -19, please know this public viewing will be structured to protect yourself and staff during this time and attendance must be scheduled prior to. Please call the funeral home (807) 468 - 8633 to schedule a viewing time. Viewing times will be scheduled in fifteen minutes with a maximum of five family and friends at one time. Masks are a requirement and must be worn at all times and social distancing measures will be in effect. Thank-you for your cooperation.  A Traditional Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the BaiBomBheh School in Whitefish Bay. Service will be officiated by Howard Copenace. Burial will follow service.
