Crops progressing around the region

After the most recent crop report showed the west-central region as 81 per cent complete, another weekend of seeding pushed that number even higher as we enter the final few days of May.

The pictured field above between Plato and Eston is a good example of what's to come for the region as producers wrap up seeding.

While any precipitation is welcome, more rain this past weekend was well received by those who have wrapped up and the opposite for anyone who were forced out of the field.
