There are tons of local events going on in Fort Saskatchewan for Pride Week.

Pride Week is coming back to Fort Saskatchewan.

From June 9 to 15, there will be plenty of events going on in the city to celebrate Pride.

Here is a rundown of the events planned for the week: 

June 9:

  • Proclamation by Mayor Gale Katchur
  • flag-raising ceremony outside Families First at 12:30 p.m. 
  • BGC Pride Prom from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. 

June 10: 

  • Drag bingo at the Bears Den 

June 11: 

  • All bodies swim at Harbour Pool 

June 12: 

  • Pride rock painting at the Fort Saskatchewan Public Library from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. 

June 13: 

  • Workshop from HIV Edmonton Health Care Providers along with a pride play mob 

June 14: 

  • Dragging youth at The Bridge from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

June 15: 

  • Closing ceremony at Legacy Park 
  • Workshop on parenting transitioning teens at the library
