After the McKenzie School Bell was re-homed to the museum in Kindersley a few years back, recent landscaping efforts have it front and centre for everyone entering the Kindersley Museum & Tourism Centre to see.

They have built the historic bell into the rock bed out front and are encouraging people to go and check it out. The museum is open between 10 AM to 6 PM Tuesday to Sunday and are open Mondays by appointment.

The Museum hosted a few different events just this past weekend including the annual Antique Seeding Demo. A breakfast on Saturday after the rodeo came after a special Farm to Food presentation earlier in the week. That joined some of the exhibits already on display.

Looking ahead to plans for Canada Day, they got their hands on some stuffed animals that are being used to raise funds for July 1. A collection of Beanie Babies is up for sale at the museum to get money for the BBQ, wagon rides, and musical entertainment planned for Canada's birthday.

There's clearly a lot of things to do this summer in Kindersley. Make sure to keep an eye out for Museum events, and don't be afraid to stop in for a tour of the exhibits.
