Police are chasing several leads in a pair of break-and-enters that happened in Elm Creek about a month ago but are now turning to the public for help in moving along the investigation.

The first incident happened around 4:30 a.m. on May 11th at Scotswood Links Golf Course. According to Pembina Valley RCMP, four suspects, driving a stolen GMC Sierra 2500, forced their way into the clubhouse and stole cash and alcohol.

Fifteen minutes later, police say the same suspects broke into the Elm Creek Co-op, entering through a side window, and stole various items before taking off.

The stolen truck, used in both crimes, has since been recovered and processed by police.

If anyone has information that can help identify the four suspects, they are asked to contact the Carman RCMP Detachment at 204-745-6760 or report anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, or their secure tip online at www.manitobacrimestoppers.com.
