Two local MLAs retained their position in Danielle Smith's provincial cabinet. 

The premier announced her cabinet roster on Friday (June 9) morning which included both Strathcona-Sherwood Park MLA Nate Glubish and Morinville-St. Albert MLA Dale Nally. 

Glubish will continue to serve as the Minister of Technology and Innovation, a role he has been in since October while Nally retains his position as the Minister of Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction.

“I am so pleased to have this team working with me to deliver on the promises we made to Albertans during the election," said Smith in a statement. "These are not just our government’s priorities, they are Albertans’ priorities."

"The next four years start today, and I can’t wait to get back to work with each of my cabinet colleagues.”

Fort Saskatchewan-Vegreville MLA Jackie Armstrong-Homeniuk was not announced to be part of the cabinet.
