Flora Sharon Doniot
July 29, 1949 – April 22, 2021
A resident of Birchwood Terrace Nursing Home passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at her residence.
She was born on July 29, 1949 in MacIntosh, Ontario.
She was predeceased by her parents Robert Pelly, Gladys Grace Pelly (nee Lands), her grandparents Joe Awasse Pelly, Flora Pelly, Edward Lands, Marie Lands, her siblings Allan Pelly, Ernest Lands Pelly, Stanley and Diane Pelly. She was also predeceased by her husbands Ron Sinclair Sr., George Bannon and James Doniot, her aunts Mary Moore, Agnes Gardner, Marjorie Taypaywaykeesick, uncle Francis Dave Lands, aunt Dora Strong and daughter-in-law Edith Fair, as well as many other family and relatives too numerous to mention.
She is survived by her siblings Edward George Pelly, Arnold Edward Pelly (Mary), Margaret Belinda Wheeler Pelly, Diane Carol Kelly (Vince), her children Tommy Pelly (Lenora), Edwin Bird, Roger Bird, Larry Bird, Brian Bird (Prairie), Ron Sinclair, Dwayne Sinclair, Luke Bannon and her first husband Eddie Bird. As well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and relatives too numerous to mention.
The family would like to send a special thanks to the Chiefs, Councils and the communities of Whitefish Bay, Eagle Lake and Grassy Narrows First Nations, Dr. Sawatzky and his staff at Birchwood Terrace nursing home. A special thank you also to Pauline for her care and compassion for Flora. As well as elders Langford Ogemah, Gordon Halverson, Larry Henry, Tommy Keesick and Robert Kelly (officiating), Roy Napish, Brenda Morison, and many thanks to her special niece Elaine Pahpasay and her family for always being there for her. Wake service will begin Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 6:00 pm at the Eagle Lake Community Hall. Traditional Funeral service will be held Monday, April 26, 2021 beginning at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Eagle Lake.
