The schedule for the 2023 Canada Day celebrations in Fort Saskatchewan has been announced.

The day features plenty of entertainment and events for residents to take part in.

Here is the schedule for Canada Day this year:

  • Pancake Breakfast: 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the legion parking lot.
  • Farmers Market: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the CN Station parking lot.
  • Car Show and Shine: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Fort Heritage Precinct.
  • Parade: 11 a.m. starting at the Jubilee Recreation Centre and making its way downtown.
  • Opening Ceremonies: 1 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. at Legacy Park.
  • Legacy Park Activities: 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. 
  • Afternoon Entertainment: 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Legacy Park Bandshell.
  • Evening Headliner Entertainment: 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Legacy Park Bandshell.
  • Fireworks: 10:45 p.m. at the Rotary Amphitheatre behind Legacy Park.

The activities at Legacy Park include face painting, food trucks, inflatables, a petting zoo, and even a video game trailer.

Some of the entertainment includes Benjamin Williams, Rebecca Lappa, The Wild Rose Old Tyme Fiddlers, and headliner The Paperboys.
