“To know Mike was to love him”
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Michael (Mike) Weldon, our beloved son, brother and friend. Michael was born January 15, 1979 and passed away in his sleep on April 14, 2021.
He was predeceased by his father, Richard Weldon on May 2020.
He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth and his three brothers, Ryan (wife, Rowena; son, Ace and three step children), Jim (Ashley and two children; Quinn and Finn), and Geoff, his youngest brother.
Cousins, aunts and uncles, too many to list. He will also be remembered and missed by his many friends.
Michael was a sweet spirit. He recently got his life back on track. He was happy and very proud of himself. He loved his new job and his co-workers. He especially loved working with his big brother.
One of Michael’s proudest accomplishments was when he was a contestant on the Canadian Idol. He loved his cats and had taking up gardening. He will be so sadly missed by all.
A Family Memorial will be held in August.
