Memorial Picnic

Family, friends, and community members are gathering at Riverside Park this afternoon to recognize the three-year mark of a collision that took the lives of four teenagers.

The collision took the lives of Courtney Forfar, 19, Hunter Beeching, 16, Arn Slaven, 18, and Cody Miller, 19, on June 24, 2020, just east of Swift Current.

A sponsored picnic from Daisy Lane Catering will take place next to O’Rudys Creek House at 1 p.m., featuring a raffle by DH Crafty Creations and a cruise throughout the afternoon.

All proceeds will be split between covering the costs to make it an annual event, and the families whose loved ones were involved in the accident.
