Natalie Grant has brought together a group of powerhouse Christian artists to record a new version of 'We Will Stand'.
"This has been one of my favourite songs since I was a child," said Grant in a video on social media. " I sang this song on car drives with my siblings. I sang this song in church. I sang this song in the youth choir. It's just one of those songs."
'We Will Stand', originally recorded 40 years ago by Russ Taff, features nine-time Grammy nominee Natalie Grant with guest vocalists Tauren Wells, Jekalyn Carr and CAIN.
Released last week, this new rendition gives the song a multi-generational, multi-genre twist.
"To introduce it to a new generation, it makes me want to cry," said Natalie. "It was from 1983, but yet, 40 years later, this song could've been written because the church needs to be reminded of their mission, love God, love people and show people that Jesus is the only way."
"I feel sometimes we're so focused on the new that we forget to go back and listen to what God has already done. Listen to what God has already spoken."
Grant says she hopes this song will inspire people of all generations. She also hinted that there would be more songs like this coming soon.
