Smoke from wildfires over northern Alberta are spreading to central parts of the province, which leads to poor air quality and reduced visibility.

Areas affected include:

  • Sturgeon County
  • Lamont County
  • Strathcona County
  • Bon Accord
  • Edmonton
  • St. Albert

People with lung disease, children, pregnant people, and people who work outdoors are at higher risk of experiencing health effects caused by the smoke.
