Jaime Grace is getting set to release a new album.
Dreamers, slated to be released this fall, will be Grace's fourth studio album and her first fully self-produced album.
Grace has released two singles from the new album including, 'Washington' and 'Keep Goin'.
Many of the lyrics of these songs discuss the struggles that Jaime has faced living with Tourette's and the stigma that comes alongside it.
"Sometimes you have to do the less popular thing to care for your mind and body in the best possible way," said Grace. "I have had to cancel shows in the past because of my Tourette and have had my tics interrupt my set. It sucks. Tourette can ,oftentimes, be incredibly complex, and it's more important to me to not only bring awareness to the condition but to hopefully encourage other humans out there dealing with a diagnosis too."
Grace says one of the songs on her new album 'Hallelujah' was inspired by older gospel music, including the legend Mahalia Jackson.
The new album is slated to be released on September 22, 2023.
