"At the age of 83, Hazel, a cherished and funny soul, made her heavenly journey. Remembered for her wit, compassion, nurturing spirit, and humorous nature, Hazel's legacy will forever resonate in our hearts."

Now reunited with her late husband, Elliot, they find solace in their shared eternity.

Loved deeply by her children, Kenneth Schneider and Kelly Schneider (Malee), Hazel's warmth and love extended to her adored grandchildren, Brandon, Tyler (Jackie), Shylow and Lucy, and her precious great-grandchildren, Kaiser, Arya, and newborn Remi, affectionately named Hazel Ann.

Her siblings held a special place in her heart: brothers, Roy (Betty), Robert, John (Barb), Rod (Millie), Ken (Lindy), Les (Sheila), sister Edith and brother-in-law Ian McCellan.

Sisters-in-law: Shirley, Bunny, Joanne and Punchy, brothers-in-law: Donny and Gary

A beloved aunt, Hazel held her nieces and nephews dearly. Numerous lifelong friends and extended family will also miss her grace and kindness.

Pre-deceased by her parents, Edward "Tootie" and Ellen "Ellie", as well as her brothers, Eddie (Annie), Buck (Marion), sisters; Sharon McCellan and Mary (husband Orvil) Holmes and also sister-in-law, Diana and brother-in-law, Gib Berard.  Hazel’s departure leaves an irreplaceable void, but her love-filled memories are a comforting presence.

We honor Hazel's life, her loving spirit, and the wonderful woman she was. Her light continues to shine in those she loved and cared for.
