Melfort RCMP have communicated that Keenan Crawford Head was located by police on James Smith Cree Nation on the afternoon of July 27 and arrested without incident.

Melfort RCMP have located and recovered the stolen black Cadillac Escalade SUV yesterday at approximately 3:30 p.m. in a rural area on the James Smith Cree Nation. The vehicle was located abandoned and contained no firearms. The vehicle has been towed and secured for further investigation.
Melfort RCMP in conjunction with the Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) are now looking to the public for assistance in locating 34-year-old Keenan Crawford Head, from James Smith Cree Nation, SK, in relation to the stolen vehicle. At this stage of the investigation, Head was believed to be the lone occupant of the vehicle.
Head is currently wanted for failing to comply with a release order. He is described as approximately 5’9”and 150 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes.
Police consider Keenan Crawford Head to be armed and dangerous. If he is seen, do not approach, and report this sighting to police immediately by calling 911 or your local police.
