A male has been charged in relation to one of the three trucks that were recently stolen in the Southwest.

In an update to yesterday's press release from the Swift Current RCMP informing the public of the thefts, Police have identified and charged 29-year-old Nicholas Langille from Medicine Hat, with the July 23 theft.

The 29-year-old is currently facing five charges related to the theft including one count of theft of a truck, one count of disguise with intent, and one count of possession of property obtained by crime.

Langille has not been located yet and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

While he has not been charged in relation to the other two vehicle thefts, the possibility is being investigated.

Police believe that Langille may be travelling with a female. The duo may be travelling in two vehicles with Saskatchewan or Alberta licence plates.
