Environment Canada has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the RM of Swift Current, including Swift Current and Wymark.
Meteorologists with Environment Canada are tracking a severe thunderstorm that has the potential to produce strong wind gusts, nickel size hail and heavy rain.
The storm is currently located near Cantuar and is moving east at 25 kilometres per hour
Large hail can cause property damage and injury while heavy rain can lead to lash floods and water pooling on roads.
It is also possible for strong wind gusts to toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, break branches off trees and overturn large vehicles.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
