Former Grande Prairie Mayor and City Councillor Dwight Logan has died

The City of Grande Prairie announced today the passing of former Mayor and City Councillor, Dwight Logan.

Grande Prairie Mayor Jackie Clayton shared condolences to family and friends of Logan. 

"Mr. Logan was a dedicated resident and entrepreneur whose civic commitment left a lasting legacy in Grande Prairie.  From his time as an educator, to his vast volunteer roles at organizations like the United Way and Downtown Association, to his 18 years as a City Councillor, Grande Prairie was made brighter and stronger because of Mr. Logan.  City Council is grateful and proud of the many contributions Mr. Logan made to our community during his tenure."

Flags at City facilities have been lowered to half-mast in his honour.
