Moose Jaw, SK — The Moose Jaw Warriors Hockey Club will reach a significant milestone during the 2023-24 Western Hockey League season as it will be the organization’s 40th season.

The Warriors moved to Moose Jaw from Winnipeg for the 1984-85 season and the organization will celebrate the 40 seasons in Moose Jaw over the course of the team’s 34 home games this season.

“This is an exciting time for the City of Moose Jaw and Warriors organization,” Warriors general manager Jason Ripplinger said. “The history of the Moose Jaw Warriors is remarkable, from starting out playing in the Civic Centre and then moving to the Events Centre, the organization has had many great memories because of the support from the community and everyone who has been part of the Warriors organization.”

As part of the 40th season celebrations, the Warriors are excited to announce a new third jersey that will be worn on select home dates throughout the season.

“This is a big milestone for the organization and community, and we are all looking forward to being a part of it,” Ripplinger said.

The 40th season jersey will be ruby red, and a reverse retro design of the jersey worn during the team’s inaugural season, featuring the Warriors word mark across the front.

The jersey will also feature the 40th season logo and the team’s current logo on the shoulders.
