All Community Appreciation Week events are FREE and open to the public. A silver collection for donations will be taken in support of Carlton Trail College’s scholarship program. Door prizes and facility tours are available.

As well, as part of its 50th Anniversary Legacy Initiative, Carlton Trail College is inviting the public, former students and staff, partners, community organizations and others to provide insight about the College and the impact it has had within the east-central Saskatchewan region. This insight will help inform a collaborative, legacy arts project to mark the College’s history, while looking ahead to the next 50 years. Individuals are encouraged to complete a simple, three-question survey to help this initiative. The deadline to participate is August 25. To take the survey, click here.

A “Legacy Leaf” activity will also be made available to those attending Community Appreciation Week events. College-inspired words, phrases or decorations are encouraged to be left on paper “legacy leaves” that will be collected and used as part of the legacy arts initiative.

In addition, the College will be sharing its history, photos and other notable activities weekly through its social media channels as part of a broader “50 Moments Over 50 Years” information-sharing campaign.
