The collision managed to maintain structural integrity around the driver's seat, preventing greater harm to the driver.

Responding to the scene of the collision was the RM of Swift Current Fire Department. Amongst those crew responding was Louis Cherpin, the Fire Chief for the RM of Swift Current. They responded to the call at 4:30 p.m.

“A person was coming up the hill going eastbound, pulling a boat and a small car collided with the boat and caused the motor vehicle collision,” confirmed Cherpin.

The boat was damaged, along with the car. The towing vehicle was left with only minor damages, with none of the occupants being severely injured.

This matter is still under investigation.
