Time to grab your chalk and hit the sidewalks. Community Chalk Art Day is back for a third year thanks to the City of Humboldt’s Cultural Services Department. It’s a chance to use your creativity to have some fun and make Humboldt a more interesting and positive place.
On Wednesday, August 16, join us for Community Chalk Art Day and create your very own piece of chalk art on the sidewalks of Humboldt. The theme for this year is “My Humboldt Story”. The only limit is your imagination. Volunteers from the Humboldt Fire Department Drone Program will be capturing aerial images of the artworks throughout the day, and photographs and video will be shared on the Museum and Gallery's website and social media.
Individuals, families, community groups and businesses are all welcome to participate in this free activity, and there will be free sidewalk chalk available at the Museum while supplies last. Register to participate by calling the Museum 306-682-5226 or email info@humboldtmuseum.ca
On the same day, the Humboldt Downtown BID will be hosting Streetfest next to the Museum for added fun in Humboldt.
