Severe Thunderstorm Warning in effect

Environment Canada meteorologists are currently tracking a severe thunderstorm that is capable of producing strong winds, nickel-sized hail, and heavy rain.

A Severe Thunderstorm has been issued for the RM of Swift Current and the RM of Coulee

The storm is located 10 kilometres southeast of Swift Current and is moving east at 55 kilometres an hour.

Severe Thunderstorm Warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing large hail, damaging winds or torrential rainfall.
