Shakespeare's coming to Okotoks.

The Dewdney Players in Okotoks are looking for 15 thespians this weekend.

It's an open casting call for a modern English version of Shakespeare's Henry V.

The gender-neutral casting call will have auditions open at 3 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday at their rehearsal space in Aldersyde.

The rehearsal space is at 102 Dennis Street in Aldersyde, right across from Pacific Avenue Tattoo.

During the play there will be mock battles performed however for the tryouts this weekend it's all about your acting chops.

They will be pulling a speech from another great author for this weekend's auditions, J.R.R. Tolkien.

If you'd like to audition, they're asking you to perform Aragon's speech at the Black Gate from Lord of the Rings:

Hold your ground! Hold your ground!

Sons of Gondor, of Rohan, my brothers,

I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me.

A day may come when the courage of men fails,

when we forsake our friends

and break all bonds of fellowship,

but it is not this day.

An hour of wolves and shattered shields,

when the age of men comes crashing down,

but it is not this day!

This day we fight!!

By all that you hold dear on this good Earth,

I bid you stand, Men of the West!!!
