Elevation Worship says they are blown away by recent news that their single 'O Come To The Altar' has been certified Double Platinum.
"This song has touched many lives," shared Elevation Worship's Chris Brown, who co-wrote the song with Pastor Steven Furtick, Mack Brock, and Wade Joye. "I think it’s amazing that a song about the open invitation Jesus offers all of us to come just as we are to Him has meant so much to so many.”
This is the first time the band has had a double platinum single.At the same time, Elevation Worship has received multiple nominations for the 54th Annual GMA Dove Awards, including "Song of the Year" for their Billboard No. 1 song 'Same God,' and "Worship Album of the Year" for LION: Live From the Loft.
Chris Brown was also nominated in the "Songwriter of the Year - Artist" category and Pastor Furtick in the Worship Recorded Song of the Year category for co-writing on Phil Wickham's 'This Is Our God.'
Elevation Worship is getting set to embark on the next leg of its Elevation Nights Tour with Pastor Furick. The eight-stop tour will kick off on October 3.
