Worship leader, songwriter and Christian artist Chris Tomlin celebrated a career milestone this week.

On Tuesday, Tomlin's recent six-week #1 single, 'Holy Forever,' helped Chris reach the historic achievement of holding the #1 position on a radio chart for over three years. That's over 157-plus weeks in the top spot.

Some of his #1 radio singles include, 'Who You Are To Me,' 'Home', 'Jesus,' 'Good Good Father,' 'Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)' and 'How Great Is Our God.'

“I have had the great honour of receiving many awards and accolades, commemorating different achievements throughout my career… but today is different,” shared Tomlin at the celebration. “As we sit here celebrating this remarkable milestone, it is not lost on me that to have this kind of longevity and impact is directly attributed to a long-term partnership with the same record label, Capitol Christian Music Group. So while today was intended to celebrate 21 #1 songs … I wanted to take the moment and put the spotlight on this 20+ year partnership with Capitol, the entire team, and each person who has made all this possible.”

On the same night that Tomlin's management team recognized his achievement, Tomlin presented a plaque to Capitol Christian Music Group for their accomplishment.

During the celebration, Chris was also presented with four new RIAA certifications. 'Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone' was certified double platinum. 'I Will Follow' and 'I Will Rise went platinum, and 'Thank You Lord (featuring Florida Georgia Line and Thomas Rett hit gold.

With the success of 'Holy Forever,' Tomlin has partnered with Miel San Marcos to release a Spanish version of the song. On Friday, Tomlin will release another rendition of the song in Portuguese.
