We Are Messengers has released the first single of their forthcoming album.
The band hopes their new song, 'God Be The Glory' will remind listeners that even in the darkest of times, the goodness of God remains unshaken.
"Life is messy and tough!" said Darren Mulligan, lead singer of We Are Messengers. "It's taken me almost two days to get from Phoenix to New York City. I've had cancellations and bags lost - trouble upon trouble - but I'm here singing to 'God Be The Glory,' and I'm reminded that all of my sorrows and troubles are temporary, but the goodness of God is permanent."
Fans of the band quickly took to social media to share their thoughts on the song.
"Thank you for such great music. It’s been a tough season, and I’m thankful for God honouring music," said one fan.
"We Are Messengers, my mother has been in a coma after suffering a hemorrhagic stroke two weeks ago. I want you to know I played 'God Be the Glory' in her ear yesterday and today. It is so timely. I cried the first time I heard it, then put it on repeat!" said another fan.
We Are Messengers are currently touring across the United States before heading to New Zealand in the new year.
