Scott Siemens, R.M. of Morris Reeve had a big focus on growth and the record setting pace this year.
"We are very pleased with the growth in the R.M. this year," stated Siemens. "We have a record 23 housing units that were started, and many of them are complete, and I know there are an additional seven that just began construction this week. We are very pleased with our developments, and how they are filling up. It feels like we started them just in time."
58 building permits have been issued so far this year, which is almost a record, with Siemens pointing to 64 as the number to beat which was set a few years ago.
"The value of the permits this year is right around $15 million, so that projects a fair amount of growth for the R.M.," he added.
Siemens notes there are a variety of lots available in the municipality which bodes well for continued growth.
