Preparations are under way for the annual Remembrance Day Ceremony in Humboldt hosted by the local branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. The program will be held at St. Augustine Church on Saturday, November 11 at the appointed hour of 11 am.
Lunch will be held after the service at the Humboldt Legion Hall. Tickets will be sold for a supper time meal, again at the Legion Hall.
Wreaths will be placed at the Cenotaph on Main Street, and some will be placed in the church during the ceremony to be relocated to the Cenotaph following the service,” explains Don Hogemann with the Royal Canadian Legion, Humboldt Branch.
The Remembrance Day Choir is rehearsing for the service on Wednesday night, November 8 at 7 pm in the St. Augustine Church. Those who would like to participate as part of the choir are invited to attend.
