Hindley opens campaign for re-election as Swift Current MLA

Everett Hindley has announced he is once again seeking re-election as MLA for Swift Current, with the Sask. Party.

Hindley opened up his campaign with a barbecue last night in Hansen Park, which is itself located in Kinetic Park.

Hindley has served as MLA for Swift Current since he was first elected in 2018.

"I'm running again for a third time this fall in the 2024 election because I think it's important to me," said Hindley. "I'm honoured and privileged to be able to serve as an MLA here for the City of Swift Current and it's a job I take pretty seriously."

Swift Current's new NDP candidate presents platform

Swift Current’s new NDP candidate announced his campaign and laid out his platform last night at the Lyric Theatre. 

The New Democratic Party of Saskatchewan has selected Jay Kimball to represent them in the upcoming election. Jay Kimball has been living in Swift Current since February, 2023, and is originally from a farm near Rockglen. He hopes to fight the carbon tax, increase education funding and improve the cost of living.
