Salvation Army Toy Drive successfully kickstarts Christmas
Bikes rumbled through the streets of Swift Current on Saturday for the third annual Salvation Army Toy Run.
Approximately 63 bikes kicked off from the Gull Lake Curling Club at 11:30 a.m., on Saturday morning to make the trek to Swift Current.
Shortly after 12:00 p.m., riders pulled into Standard Nissan to drop off donations and enjoyed a barbecue and raffle table.

The 14-year-old was located safely.

Three people charged after string of crimes near Witchikan Lake First Nation
Three individuals have been charged in relation to a series of events that took place near Witchekan Lake First Nation at the beginning of the month.
At approximately 12:51 a.m., on September 2, Spiritwood RCMP received a report that shots had been fired on Witchekan Lake First Nation. Witnesses at the scene advised that a male in a grey Pontiac was shooting at a driver in a white Ford vehicle. Officers attended the scene immediately.
