10 girls, 1 counsellor still missing from Camp Mystic as death toll rises to 82 in Texas floods
The search continues in the Texas Hill Country after catastrophic flooding left at least 82 people dead, including 28 children, and dozens more missing over the weekend.
Among the missing are 10 girls and one counsellor from Camp Mystic, a Christian summer camp for girls located on the banks of the Guadalupe River.
Police searching for teenage suspect after machete attack
The Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) are searching for a teenage suspect after a man was assaulted with a machete on Thursday.
On July 3, the WPS responded to a call in the 1700 block of Portage Avenue. A man had been attacked by a teen carrying a machete, according to the victim.
The suspect ran away before the West District Police arrived on the scene.

Over 50 people gathered in Truth and Life Worship Center on Sunday evening for a worship concert hosted by True Spirituality Network.
The night was filled with praise, worship, prayer, spoken word poetry, and a message. With a set list of almost 30 songs, over 24 were originally written.

Seven homes destroyed by fire on Manitoba First Nation, community's leadership says
A wildfire in northern Manitoba has destroyed seven homes in a day the chief and council of the local First Nation are calling "horrendous."
Officials of Tataskweyak Cree Nation say in a Facebook post that a fire that ignited northwest of the community on Friday was fanned by strong winds, and that approximately 175 residents have been evacuated east to Gillam, Man.
Tataskweyak was evacuated earlier in the fire season and had lifted the order in mid-June, but then had to push back the date when people could return due to problems with its water system.
