LISTEN: First song from After Death soundtrack now available

The first song from the official After Death: Inspired by the Motion Picture EP has officially been released. 

The lead single 'In Heaven' was written and recorded by Chris Quilala (Jesus Culture) and is featured in the end credits of the film. Other artists featured on the film's soundtrack include Tasha Layton, Bryan and Katie Torwalt and Maryanne J. George (Maverick City Music).

The new album How To Start A Housefire (Part III) is part of a series the music collective has released this year. Part I was released in January, Part II in April and now Part III in November.

Nov. 5 marked the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. The annual day originated to raise awareness of the increasing violence, torture, death, worship restrictions, public humiliation, and social isolation that some Christians face on a daily basis. 

Christians across the world participate by praying for others in predominately atheist countries such as North Korea, China, Iraq, as well as in South Asia and the Middle East.

Chinenye originally from Nigeria now calls Winnipeg home. 

Recently releasing her EP, Love's Embrace, she hopes that it brings encouragement to those who might need it. 

"'Fight for Me,' came from a place where I was waiting on The Lord and He gave me this verse. It's in the book of Psalms. If God can calm the raging seas, He also calms the storms in me. That's the lyrics to the song. And we're hoping that more people listen to it to know that there's nothing God cannot do."

Phil Wickham drops heartfelt surprise single to mark 15 years of marriage

Phil Wickham released a new single over the weekend, but it wasn't just any song. It was a surprise anniversary gift for his wife.

"This song was a joy to create and release. I wrote and recorded this one for my wife, Mallory, as an anniversary gift. It was hard to keep it a secret, but surprising her with it when it came out was SO worth it. Happy to report that she loves it." wrote Wickham on Facebook.
