Shelley Thody's childhood started great. She went to church regularly and knew that she loved Jesus.
As she grew older, she stopped reading the Bible and moved further away from Jesus.
By the time she was in grade 12, she had moved, met new people and made some unhealthy choices.
"When we moved from St. Albert to Calgary, we kind of stopped making it a regular thing to go to church, and it was becoming a bit distant," said Shelley. "It's interesting because my life started to change a little. I started to feel down. It was not like my personality at all."
Within one year, all CAIN siblings now parents
Taylor Cain Matz welcomed her first child to the world this week, a little girl.
"From start to finish, this delivery was a complete JOY!!!" says Matz on Instagram. "We welcomed this shining star into the room with happiness and laughter!"

"I grew up, my family, all in church and my grandpa was a pastor. And so I always had that faith and those guidelines to walk by," said Sean. "What I was missing, especially in my teenage years, was that mentor to come alongside me. There is a difference between your family and a mentor. And there are just some things you would feel more comfortable talking to a mentor about than opening up to your family."
