Changing population patterns and crumbling buildings requiring costly repairs have created a challenging environment for Britain’s network of thousands of churches, many of which date back hundreds of years.

It is a situation that has resulted in a major campaign to save these church buildings — and increasingly inventive ways of maintaining their existence such as community shops and even glamping in churches.

Tributes pour in after news of Mandisa's passing

The Christian and Gospel community, along with former and present contestants of American Idol have taken to social media to remember singer and songwriter Mandisa.

The 47-year-old passed away in her Nashville home on Thursday, April 18.  

Danny Gokey, also a former American Idol contestant, said he was devastated to hear about the sudden loss of Mandisa.

Anne Wilson releases sophomore album, encourages listeners to be bold in their faith

Grammy-nominated and Platinum-certified singer and songwriter Anne Wilson has officially released her sophomore album. 

The new project, REBEL, which features 16 tracks, hit shelves and streaming platforms on Friday. 

"I have worked so hard on this record and getting it out to y’all," said Annie in a post on Facebook. "I poured my heart and soul into every single song. This writing process was the most freeing experience I’ve ever had. I enjoyed every moment so much and will never forget that season of my life."

Family ministry organization's founder and CEO both resign after admitting inappropriate relationship

Reggie Joiner, the founder of the widely-followed family ministry organization Orange, and its newly appointed CEO, Kristen Ivy, have both resigned after admitting to an inappropriate relationship with one another.

The news came on Wednesday when the ministry's board released a statement to supporters. It says it was with "profound sadness" that they announced the resignation of both Joiner and Ivy effective immediately.

Carlos and Alexa PenaVega ask for prayers following stillborn birth of daughter

Actors Carlos and Alexa PenaVega are asking for prayers after the heartbreaking news that their daughter was stillborn.

The Big Time Rush actor and Spy Kids actress took to Instagram in a joint statement on Monday to share that their fourth child, whom they named Indy Rex PenaVega, changed their world. 

"God continues to comfort and hold us in His arms," the social media post from he couple says. "The prayers from the community around us have been so sustaining in this difficult season."

Christian and Gospel music community pay tribute to Gabe Patillo

Tributes continue to pour in from the Christian and Gospel community following the death of TobyMac Diverse City member Gabe Patillo.

Patillo, a multi-talented man who by age ten, was dancing onstage alongside DC Talk, passed away following a battle with cancer. 

TobyMac quickly took to social media to let the world know how much he respected Gabe.
