Prov's president looks to redefine theological education with new book

The President of Providence University College and Theological Seminary is "[providing] an invaluable roadmap to an important educational paradigm shift," according to one glowing review of a new book which he co-authored.

Dr. Kent Anderson's upcoming book, co-authored with Greg Hansen, is called Theological Education: Principles and Practices of a Competency-Based Approach. The book, poised to reshape theological education, introduces a competency-based approach, aiming to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application.

The Hillson United member released a live version of 'So Will I (100 Billion X)' on YouTube.

Ellie Holcomb set to release new Psalms album and new edition of her devotional, Fighting Words

Ellie Holcomb announced today that she will release a new album next month. 

The new album, All of My Days, is a collection of curated Psalms that have helped carry her through difficult times as well as played an encouraging role in the lives of her listeners through her “Memory Mondays,” where she sings Scripture verses to songs each week. She will release it alongside an expanded edition of her devotional Fighting Words.

'Your voice is next level': Former Newsboys guitarist shocks judges during The Voice audition

The former guitarist of the Newsboys, Bryan Olesen, showcased his vocals during a recent audition on The Voice. 

The 49-year-old from Lincoln, Nebraska, blew away the judges, turning three out of four chairs within the first few seconds of singing. 

Olesen sang One Republic's 'Love Runs Out' during the blind audition. 

Reba McEntire was the first to share her thoughts on his song, saying she felt the performance without seeing anything. 

Pastor forgives man after he crashes box truck into church building

A church in North Carolina is picking up the pieces after a half-tonne truck smashed into their building over the weekend. 

Although no one was injured, the church building sustained significant damage. 

Rev. Bienvenido Alegria, pastor of Iglesia Pentecostal Unida Hispana, lives right around the corner from the church. He heard the commotion and immediately ran outside to see what was happening. 

When he arrived, he saw that a box truck had slammed into the wall of their building, leaving a gaping hole.
