Our hearts are heavy with grief as we remember the life of Cora Carol Wilms (Rebman), who peacefully departed from this world on July 30th, 2023, at the Cypress Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Cora, a remarkable and beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, friend, and neighbor, leaves behind a legacy that will forever be remembered.

The funeral service for Mr. Louis Tsougrianis of Swift Current, Saskatchewan will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Lifegiving Font Greek Orthodox Church with Father John Kaoukakis officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dr. Noble Irwin Regional Healthcare Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Ross Ginter will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. from the Eagles Hall, 1910 South Service Road West, Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

Family and friends are welcome to join us for a day of celebration in remembrance of Gord Smith on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the Funny Farm located 10 kilometers south of Swift Current on Lac Pelletier Trail. The program will begin at 3:00 p.m. followed by an afternoon and evening of celebration concluding about 8:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend. If you can stay for supper, please email carol.moen1@gmail.com and indicate the number of people in your family. Dress casual. We will have special activities for children so please bring them too.

George Arthur Rehbein

George Arthur Rehbein, age 86, of Cabri, and formerly of Central Butte, passed away on July 12, 2023 at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current. George is survived by his wife Gayle, daughter Cindy Rehbein (Larald Shaw), sons Tobby (Bev Gardner) and Michael. Six grandchildren and two great granddaughters. He was predeceased by parents Ferdinand and Elizabeth Rehbein and in-laws Henry and Agnes Olson. Two brothers Frank and Ernie, Sister Elsie and two foster brothers Warren Baker and Lloyd Morris.

Allan Jay Brown

Allan Jay Brown passed away at Clover house at the Meadows on Monday July 17, 2023 at the age of 52. Allan was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan on July 26, 1970 to his parents Joey and Lisette Brown. He attended school in Hodgeville, Saskatchewan and met his buddies Mark, Alvin and Blair. Together the three of them liked to drive around and enjoyed having a beer together.

George Arthur Rehbein

George Arthur Rehbein, age 86, of Cabri, and formerly of Central Butte, passed away on July 12, 2023 at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current. George is survived by his wife Gayle, daughter Cindy Rehbein (Larald Shaw), sons Tobby (Bev Gardner) and Michael. Six grandchildren and two great granddaughters. He was predeceased by parents Ferdinand and Elizabeth Rehbein and in-laws Henry and Agnes Olson. Two brothers Frank and Ernie, Sister Elsie and two foster brothers Warren Baker and Lloyd Morris. George was born at Central Butte, Saskatchewan on May 13, 1937.

Stanley Wade Mullenix

Breaker, Breaker 19 Stanley Wade Mullenix, born August 8, 1948, made his final run on July 16, 2023. He was born the tiniest surviving baby in the Swift Current Hospital at that time. He went on to become an unstoppable force. Schooling wasn't for him and after reaching grade nine, he closed the books for the last time after two weeks. He started working the next day and never stopped. He worked on the Sask Landing Ferry, built fences and planted trees at the Sask Landing Park.

Sheila Mary Dunn (Copland)

Sheila Mary Dunn (Copland) passed away peacefully on July 3rd, 2023 at the Meadows Long Term Care Facility with family at her side.  Left to cherish her memory are her six children; her daughter Susan (Greg) and their son Kent (Vicki) and children Ryder and Blake; and their daughter Ashley (Gerry) and children Hadley and Lawson; her daughter Sherry (Bruce) and their son Justin (Veronica) and their children Parker, Griffin, Dawson and Raine; and their son Dalys and his son Austin; her son Scott (Elizabeth) and their daughter Mary Kate (Jason) and their children Chloe, Georgia, Sam and Bridgi
