Sheila Paulette Mary Campbell, 81, of Morden passed away Thursday, August 22nd at Boundary Trails Health Centre. She is survived by 1 daughter, 3 sons, and their families.
Mass of Resurrection for Sheila Paulette Mary Campbell will be held Wednesday, August 28th at 10am at St. John’s Roman Catholic Church, Morden with burial at a later date.
Viewing will be at the church prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Menzies Medical Centre.

Sports Update - Tuesday, August 27th
Charles Roberts will become the 16th member of the Winnipeg Football Club's Ring of Honour and will be officially added during the Banjo Bowl on Saturday, September 7th against the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Roberts played for the Blue Bombers from 2001-08 before being traded at the end of his career to the B.C. Lions. He was a Canadian Football League All-Star for seven consecutive seasons from 2001-07 and was selected as the CFL’s Most Outstanding Special Teams Player in 2001, the year he was also a finalist for the Most Outstanding Rookie award.
Busy weekend for Morden Police during Corn and Apple Festival
It was a busy weekend for Morden police officers.
Starting Thursday, police were called to a local establishment regarding a man threatening people with a knife. He was arrested without incident, and officers found a knife in his pocket. The man was brought to local a healthcare facility for further assessment. The investigation is currently ongoing.
Officers responded to additional disturbances at local businesses in the following days.

A spokesperson for Southern Health-Sante Sud says hospitals in the region continue to handle a lot of cases that do not need to be seen at an emergency room (ER).
Dr. Aly Dhala is Chief Medical Officer. He says it has been a fairly busy summer at their emergency rooms, particularly at the regional centres like Boundary Trails Health Centre. He notes the uptick in volume is related to closures and service disruptions at some smaller sites. As a result, patients then tend to go to the larger regional centres that are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
