In a social media post on Tuesday afternoon, the department said it is looking for the owner of the vehicle, described as a dark coloured sedan equipped with red and blue flashing lights on the dashboard.
Police say this is relation to an incident at the Altona Park that happened Sunday evening.
Students sent to hospital after bus/tractor crash near Haywood

Eight children were taken to hospital with minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash, involving a school bus, Tuesday morning near Haywood, in the R.M. of Grey.
According to the initial RCMP investigation, a tractor was collecting debris being pushed by a southbound grader on Road 37W when it was rear-ended by the school bus. The grader was not involved.

A distinguished professor emeritus in the Department of Biosystems Engineering at the University of Manitoba will be invested into the Order of Manitoba this summer.
Dr. Digvir S. Jayas, an engineer and agrologist, has received multiple awards for his 30-year research and teaching career. He conducts research related to drying, handling and storing of grains and oilseeds and digital image processing for grading and processing operations in the Agri-Food industry.
PEI MP Heath MacDonald takes on the role of Agriculture Minister
Prime Minister Mark Carney announced his new cabinet today.
One of the new faces at the cabinet table will be 59 year old Heath MacDonald an MP from Prince Edward Island, as he takes on the role of Federal Agriculture and Agri-Food Minister.
MacDonald was first elected as an MP in 2021 after previously serving in the Provincial Legislature

Early on May 6th, 2025, Gregory John Gerolamy, aged 72 years, passed away in the Palliative Care ward of Boundary Trails Health Center in Morden, MB. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ruth (nee Loewen), daughters Tanya (Mike) and Tenille (Ashley), all those to whom he was a brother-in-law, uncle & great-uncle and his four-legged buddy Tucker. He was predeceased by his parents Jerry & Leona Gerolamy, his sister Lynne Cox and parents-in-law Henry & Betty Loewen.

Dan Thiessen, 71, of Altona formerly of Rosenfeld, passed away Saturday, May 10th in the RM of Emerson Franklin. He is survived by his wife Elsie, 2 daughters, 1 son, and their families. He was predeceased by 1 daughter in infancy.
The celebration of life for Dan Thiessen will be held Thursday, May 15th at 2:07pm at Altona EMMC. Dan was known for setting odd times, never exactly on the hour. Burial will take place prior to the service at 1pm at Altona Cemetery.

A family reunion in Pakistan for Morden resident has drastically changed into a nightmare
Syed Faizen Nassir moved to Morden from Pakistan in 2018, where he started a business in the Pembina Valley.
Recently, he went on a trip back to Pakistan.
"I came actually here to visit my family, and it was supposed to be a short, peaceful trip to reconnect with loved ones and spend some quality time. Unfortunately, things changed disastrously after I arrived due to the sudden escalation in tension between India and Pakistan."
The flight from Canada left on time, as it was scheduled, but just before landing, the pilot made an announcement.
