Community spirit is high at the Landmark Friendship Festival, through rain and shine.
Though the evening started off with an intense spurt of rain, community members were quick to help attach walls to the tent and stick around for an evening of fun.
Organizers Aleah and Pam say that as new members to Landmark, it is great to see the sense of community at this event.

Tornado Watch issued for parts of Southern Manitoba
Environment Canada has issued a Tornado Watch for a large portion of Southern Manitoba.
It says conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms, which may produce tornadoes. Strong winds, large hail, and heavy rain are also possible.
Environment Canada says a highly unstable airmass combined with an approaching disturbance will produce scattered thunderstorms this afternoon into this evening. There is a risk of tornadoes with these thunderstorms.
Steinbach engineer says drainage worked as planned in Tuesday's rainstorm
The Head Engineer for Steinbach says the city's drainage system worked as it should in Tuesday's rainstorm.
The city received about 43 millimetres of rain that day, which is about 1.7 inches. At times, the rainfall was hard enough that streets began to flood.

Jolys Regional Library in St Pierre officially opens its doors at new location
After a year of uncertainty and big changes, the Jolys Regional Library has officially opened in its new location at 479 Turenne Street, around the corner from its former home attached to École Héritage Immersion School.
And if the crowd at Tuesday's grand opening BBQ was any indication, this little library means a lot to the people of St. Pierre.
