Tonight's the night. The Moose Jaw Warriors are set to battle the Saginaw Spirit in semi-final action at the Memorial Cup.

Puck drop is 5:30 p.m. Tickets are still available for the Warriors Watch Party at the Moose Jaw Events Centre for $5 each, with proceeds being donated to Joe's Place.

You can also catch all the action with James Gallo and Derek Kletzel on Country 100. The pregame show is set to start at 5:10.

The Winner will face the London Knights in Sunday's championship final at 5:30.

Sports Round-Up: Thursday, May 30

The Moose Jaw Warriors will face off against the Saginaw Spirit in tomorrow's semi-final game at the Memorial Cup.

The London Knights beat the Spirit 4-2 last night, earning a trip to the championship game on Sunday night.

So, it's Moose Jaw versus Saginaw tomorrow night - 5:30 p.m. game time. You can join in on the Warriors Watch Party at the Moose Jaw Events Centre for $5 a ticket, with proceeds being donated to Joe's Place. Tickets are still available on sasktix.ca.

Sports Round-Up: Wednesday, May 29

The Moose Jaw Warriors will play in the semi-final game at the 2024 Memorial Cup!

The Warriors with a 5-3 win over the Drummondville Voltigeurs last night.

Warriors' defencemen Aiden Ziprick scored the game-winning goal, short-handed, with just 1:34 on the clock.

Brayden Yager added an empty netter to seal the victory.  Denton Mateychuk, Jagger Firkus and Vojtech Port also scored for Moose Jaw.

The semi-final game is set for Friday night with the Warriors' opponent to be determined tonight.

It's win or go home for the Moose Jaw Warriors tonight at the Memorial Cup.

The London Knights hung on for a 5-4 victory over the Warriors last night.

The Warriors are 0-2 and have to get a win against the Drummondville Voltageurs tonight to advance to the playoff round. Puck drop is 5:30 p.m. Saskatchewan time, and there are still some tickets left to the Warriors Watch Party at the Moose Jaw Events Centre on Sasktix.ca - it's $5 admission with proceeds being donated to the food bank.

There's still a few tickets to tonight's Warriors Watch Party at the Moose Jaw Events Centre, as the Moose Jaw Warriors are set to battle the Saginaw Spirit in their first ever game at the Memorial Cup in Michigan.

Puck drop tonight is 5:30 p.m. and you can catch all the action on Country 100, starting with the pregame show at 5:10.

At the World Hockey Championship, Canada beat Slovakia 6-3 in yesterday's quarterfinal game. They're set to face Switzerland in the semi-finals tomorrow starting at 10:20 a.m. our time.

Seeding is 56 per cent complete as of May 20

Saskatchewan’s Ministry of Agriculture has released the Crop Report for the period of May 14 to 20 — the province’s farmers have now completed over half of this spring’s seeding, according to Meghan Rosso, a Crops Extension Specialist at the Agriculture Knowledge Centre headquartered in Moose Jaw. 

“Currently 56 per cent of the 2024 crop is in the ground,” Rosso explained. “This is up from 32 per cent that was reported seeded last week.”

The Moose Jaw Warriors touched down in Michigan yesterday, and they're gearing up for the Memorial Cup in Saginaw. The Warriors will face off against the hosts, the Saginaw Spirit, in their first of three round-robin games tomorrow, and you can catch all the action on Country 100 with the pregame show starting at 5:10 p.m. Puck drop is at 5:30 p.m.

There will be Warriors Watch Parties at the Moose Jaw Events Centre for each of the three games - not many tickets are left for any of the games according to SaskTix this morning.

Sports Round-Up: Wednesday, May 22

You can see the Moose Jaw Warriors off this morning as they head to the Memorial Cup. Warriors' fans are encouraged to re-create the "Runway to Victory" and line Manitoba Street from Giant Tiger eastward cheering the Warriors on, with the bus leaving the Moose Jaw Events Centre at 7:15 a.m.

Game 1 for the Warriors at the Memorial Cup is Friday against the host Saginaw Spirit at 5:30 p.m. our time.

The first game of the four-team, round-robin tournament will see the Warriors take on the host Saginaw Spirit one week from tonight. That game will be a 5:30 start, local time.
