Western Canadian Baseball League action at Ross Wells Park tonight as the Moose Jaw Miller Express play host to the Saskatoon Berries - the Express currently have a 4-4 record while the Berries are 1-6 in their inaugural season. First pitch scheduled for 7:05.
The Moose Jaw Canucks AAA 18U take on the White Butte Broncos in an away game this evening, and currently sit with a 7-7 record this season.
MJ Public Library activities in June include the Summer Reading Club launch party
The Moose Jaw Public Library is readying for the launch of its Summer Reading Club in a couple of weeks, as well as preparing several movie showings for Pride Month.
Seeding is at 77 per cent completion as of May 27
The crop report for May 21, to 27, 2024 has been released, that shows seeding operations within the province are closing the gap between current progress and the five-year and ten-year averages for this time in previous seasons.
“Producers have made significant progress this week, with seeding now 77 per cent complete in Saskatchewan,” said Meghan Rosso, Crops Extension Specialist. “This does fall behind the five-year average of 91 per cent, and the ten-year average of 89 per cent.”

The Moose Jaw Warriors ended their season with a 7-1 loss to the Saginaw Spirit in the Memorial Cup semi-final on Friday. Saginaw went on to win the championship game 4-3 over the London Knights last night.
The Warriors celebrated their unprecedented season with local fans with a parade down Main Street yesterday which was followed by a party at the Moose Jaw Events Centre.

Puck drop is 5:30 p.m. Tickets are still available for the Warriors Watch Party at the Moose Jaw Events Centre for $5 each, with proceeds being donated to Joe's Place.

The Winner will face the London Knights in Sunday's championship final at 5:30.

The Moose Jaw Warriors will face off against the Saginaw Spirit in tomorrow's semi-final game at the Memorial Cup.
The London Knights beat the Spirit 4-2 last night, earning a trip to the championship game on Sunday night.

The Moose Jaw Warriors will play in the semi-final game at the 2024 Memorial Cup!
The Warriors with a 5-3 win over the Drummondville Voltigeurs last night.
Warriors' defencemen Aiden Ziprick scored the game-winning goal, short-handed, with just 1:34 on the clock.
Brayden Yager added an empty netter to seal the victory. Denton Mateychuk, Jagger Firkus and Vojtech Port also scored for Moose Jaw.
The semi-final game is set for Friday night with the Warriors' opponent to be determined tonight.

It's win or go home for the Moose Jaw Warriors tonight at the Memorial Cup.
The London Knights hung on for a 5-4 victory over the Warriors last night.
The Warriors are 0-2 and have to get a win against the Drummondville Voltageurs tonight to advance to the playoff round. Puck drop is 5:30 p.m. Saskatchewan time, and there are still some tickets left to the Warriors Watch Party at the Moose Jaw Events Centre on Sasktix.ca - it's $5 admission with proceeds being donated to the food bank.
