Just 1:15 into last night's game, the Lethbridge Hurricanes scored the opening goal, and they only got stronger from there as they went on to a 6-3 win over the Moose Jaw Warriors. That's 3 straight losses for the Warriors.
Jagger Firkus scored two goals for the Warriors while Matthew Savoie scored the other one. The Warriors are back on the ice tomorrow against the Tri-City Americans in Kennewick, Washington with puck drop at 9 p.m., and you can catch all the action on Country 100.

It wasn't that big a deal, had to make an appointment, then he found there wasn't enough room for it. And we made room for it and got it done. But it's a project, is it complete now?

Atley Calvert scored his 36th goal of the season, which proved to be the winner as the Moose Jaw Warriors beat the Brandon Wheat Kings 4-2 last night. That's 6 wins in a row for Moose Jaw. The Warriors are back on home ice tomorrow when they host the Calgary Hitmen. All the action on Country 100 with the Voice of the Warriors James Gallo, starting with the pre-game show at 6:40.
The Moose Jaw Winmar AAA Warriors are on the road in Estevan this weekend for a pair of games against the Great North Bears Saturday and Sunday.
Kyle Peeace bail hearing delayed
A man charged with attempted murder will have to wait a bit longer to get a bail hearing.
Kyle Peeace appeared in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Thursday via video along with his lawyer Nick Brown via telephone.
The appearance was scheduled to be a show cause hearing. However, Brown told the court they could not run the hearing because more information was needed. He asked for an adjournment to Feb. 22.

Woman caught up in drug trafficking sting receives probation
A 40-year-old woman who was caught up in a drug trafficking investigation was sentenced to 12 months of probation for simple possession of fentanyl at Moose Jaw Provincial Court recently.
Jennifer Shirtliffe was in a relationship with Merlyn Hodgson last April when police were investigating Hodgson for trafficking fentanyl.
Man sentenced to 60 days for breaking Conditional Sentence Order
A 26-year-old man will be spending a portion of his Conditional Sentence Order (CSO) behind bars.
During Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Thursday, Rhett Busch pleaded guilty and was sentenced by Judge David Chow to 60 days in prison for two counts of breaching curfew and 30 days to be served concurrently for stealing gas.
'Unreasonable’: Defense opposes consecutive jail sentences for man guilty of assaults
A 52-year-old man will be serving a jail sentence it's just a matter of how long.
Christopher Musqua was found guilty of unlawful confinement, assault, assault by choking, assault with a weapon and uttering death threats. Musqua appeared in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Thursday for sentencing.
New Highway Hotline cameras provide better condition
Six new cameras are running or being installed throughout the province to give motorists and the provincial Highway Hotline a real-time view of conditions.
The six new cameras, bring the total number of static cameras deployed across the province to 50, according to a release from the Ministry of Highways.
"Our government continues to enhance the Highway Hotline's service to ensure motorists have more ways to plan their journey and make an informed decision," Highways Minister Lori Carr said.
