O.P.P. search for aggressive pit bull last seen in Norman
Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are looking to the public to assist in locating an aggressive dog last seen in the Norman area.
Police and Kenora By-law are looking for an aggressive large white pit bull that was last seen in the Norman area. If anyone sees this dog, do not approach it. Call Police or By-Law.

OPP searching for break-in suspect in Lakeside area
Lakeside area residents are advised of an increased police presence in their neighbourhood tonight.
Officers with the Kenora OPP say they’re searching for a suspect related to a number of attempted break-and-enter incidents in the Lakeside area over the last few nights, with the suspect attempting to gain entry into vehicles, sheds and more.
The OPP says the suspect’s name could not be released at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
Kenora ‘starts the journey’ to address downtown safety
Concerned Kenora residents filled the chambers of City Hall today as Mayor Andrew Poirier and Council members held an emergency meeting to try to find solutions to safety concerns in Kenora’s downtown core.
The meeting came about as at least five local businesses have been the subject of mischief, crime or harassment this month, with multiple employees being the victim of assaults.
Now, City Councillors say they will be discussing a variety of solutions to present to the public going forward – after hearing from members of the public at City Hall earlier today.
