Today, the business can be found in the Clearspring Centre, across from The Shoe Company.
Bringing help, hope, and healing through aviation

Sponsored: Anchor of Hope: Calloused Hands
I can remember sitting with my dad in church one Sunday in November, well over 35 years ago. I remember it was November because I was playing with the pin I had pulled out of the poppy I had found. As the preacher preached, I poked gently at the callouses on my hands, pulling up pieces of dry hardened skin. Then I thought, “Dad’s hands have way more callouses than mine, I wonder how deep I can push the pin into his callouses?” Dad, who was intently listening to the pastor, ignored me as I started to gently poke at his hands, undisturbed because of the hardened surface of his hands.

Providence Student Athlete of the Month gives back through VBS and YFC
Providence University College may have to rename its monthly high school athletics award for August. Something like “Providence Multi-Sport Student Athlete of the Month” could fit the bill. Because Carman’s Sydney Last doesn’t exactly limit herself to a single game.
In her Grade 12 year at Carman Collegiate she captained the volleyball and basketball teams, advanced to provincials in badminton and also played baseball in the spring.
“I’ve been given talent from God,” she says. “I just really love to play sports, and I want to do it for God’s glory.”
Dino’s marking milestone by giving back to customers
A 30-year anniversary is always something to celebrate, but Dino’s Appliance & Mattress Centre isn’t making theirs about themselves.
Instead, owners Dean and Debbie Dubois, who opened the Portage la Prairie business back in 1993, are giving customers the chance to “Save the Taxes” and even win their purchase up to a value of $3,000. It’s their way of thanking the community for three decades of support.

Spokesperson and organizer Alex Loewen says of the sixty cars competing each day, most will be locals from Manitoba.
