SaskPower: No harm in farm incident involving power transmitter
An incident was reported to SaskPower at around 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday involving a farm implement coming into contact with a power structure near Riceton, south of Regina.
SaskPower Spokesperson Scott McGregor said the machine had come into contact with one of their transmission structures.
"Thankfully that line in particular doesn't service any of our customers on the distribution side, so there were no outages felt by any of our residential customers, business customers, or anything like that," he reported.

Stoughton Credit Union announces community enhancement funding
Two sponsorships were announced by the Stoughton Credit Union on Wednesday during their Annual General Meeting.
A 15-year, $75,000 agreement with the Stoughton Golf Course for Clubhouse expansion and renovations, and a two-year, $5,500 sponsorship with the Heward Community Complex, for programming.
Marketing and Project Management Coordinator Karla Gervais said the announcements were exciting for them, as this is the first time they've had the opportunity to contribute formally in this way.

Southeast country artistDan Cugnet is looking forward to attending the Saskatchewan Country Music Awards event this June in Lloydminster, after being nominated for three SCMAs - one for Emerging Artist of the Year, as well as two for Alternative Country Album of the Year for his albums, 'Badlands' and 'Badlands II'.
Cugnet said he attended the SCMAs for the first time in 2023, after being considered for Emerging Artist of the Year, as well as Best Alternative Country Album of the Year for his first two albums, 'Rodeo Cabaret' and '45'.
Further STF job action impacting schools this week in Estevan
No extracurricular activities will be available to students today at the schools in Estevan due to province-wide job action being taken by members of the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation.
In an announcement coming in over the weekend, there will be rotating full-day strikes tomorrow at specific schools in the province.
However, the South East Cornerstone Public School Division was not named as one of the divisions impacted at this time, which means there will be school for all students on February 27th in SECPSD schools.
